If you're reading this, you probably know the feeling of having a great idea you want to build fast. My idea was simple: an AI voice generator called Lets Vocal. I knew the field had huge competitors like ElevenLabs, but I decided the market was big enough for me to find my own corner.
I gave myself a strict deadline: 90 days. Here is the start of that sprint.
Phase I: The Foundation (Days 1-30)
My first month was about moving quickly and laying a strong base.
1. Getting the Name and Choosing the Framework
On day one, I bought the domain: Lets Vocal. The name is simple, active, and tells you exactly what the product does. Securing it made the whole project feel real.
Right after that, I chose my framework. Speed was key, so I picked a familiar, robust frontend framework and a reliable backend language that could easily handle API calls and manage user accounts. Sticking to tools I knew well saved me weeks of learning time.
2. Design for Speed and SEO
I had no time for fancy design. For an AI tool, the interface must be dead simple. I focused on function first: users must be able to type, pick a voice, and download the audio fast.
Beyond the UI, I also obsessed over site speed. This is vital for user experience and, just as importantly, for SEO ranking. I aimed for near-instant loading times from the start.
3. Strategic Marketing Setup
Building the product is only half the job. I spent the rest of the first month preparing for launch traffic:
SEO Focus: I researched keywords like 'AI voice generator' and made sure all my initial pages were highly search engine compatible.
Outreach List: I started a list of blogs and creators that might link to the product after launch.
Ads Test: I planned small Google Ads campaigns to test demand and costs in different countries.
